Downloading and Starting a Project

This tutorial walks you through downloading and starting a project in VEXcode IQ (2nd gen). By the end, you’ll have downloaded your project to the Brain and started it running.

  1. Make sure your robot is connected to VEXcode. See Connecting to Your Robot if it isn’t connected yet.

  2. Select the Slot number at the top of the page to change which slot the project will download into on the Brain. There is a maximum of 8 different slots.

  1. Select Download to download the project to the Brain.

  1. Select Run to have your robot begin running the project.
